I read your gonomad article of Donaldsonville,La. I was looking up some historical items from the town and ran across your site. For some reason the article and your ” about me” site had me thinking. The picture of the row of shotgun houses on Lesard St. struck a nerve since I was born on the one at the far left. Donaldsonville, like most of America, has changed dramatically from the days of its glory. All it really has is its past to be known for. I find it fascinating to hear people like you who are educated, well traveled and have such diverse life experiences tell your stories. Thank you.

Donaldsonville was such an interesting place to visit. How funny that a picture of your childhood home ended up in my article. The world is a small place, huh? I still remember the white chocolate bread pudding I ate there. It was d’lish!
